Admit the truth

You realize that it will hurt her more to lie and say you were just comforting her. You give her the truth.

"I meant it. I want you. I've wanted you for a long time." You sigh, letting a lot of tension of out of your body. It feels like a huge burden has been taken from your shoulders. You're not hiding any more. "There. I said it."

{LAST_NAME}'s face softens, and she smiles. "Do you know why I threw myself at you last night?"

"You were drunk and Keith dumped you."

"Well, getting drunk was part of it, it released my inhibitions enough to act on my feelings. I've wanted you for a long time too. When you never made any advances, I thought you didn't like me that way. Just as friends, so I kept my feelings to myself. That's why it keeps falling apart with the people I date." She sniffs a little and then scoffs, "Keith! What an asshole!" Her face gets thoughtful for a minute and then she says, "Do you still want me? I'm not drunk any more, so you wouldn't be taking advantage of me." She gets a mischievous grin on her face.

When she gets that look on her face, she is irresistable. You close with her and kiss her on the lips.
