Categorising

From Top Trumps

Categorizing articles makes organizing & navigating articles much easier. When you've finished typing your article, include it's category(s). To add a category to your article, use the following template, in this example the pack is based on a TV show from 2003 by Just Stuff released for the UK.

[[Category:Trumps - Just Stuff]]
[[Category:Trumps - TV]]
[[Category:Trumps - 2003]]
[[Category:Trumps - UK]]

Check the Categories page and decide it's categories from there. On packs there is 4 or more categories. The top one is the company. The next one is what the pack is based one. The third one is the year it was released (if it has been released more then once then include both years. The last one is the country it as released in.

If there is a year not on the category list, don't worry, write it anyway. It can be added. If the category isn't on the list, don't worry, write it anyway. It can be added. And the same goes with the companies and the countries.

Category Name Format

Take a look at the Category Page. That list would not be in alphabetical order if the categories were not named in a specific format. Instead of let's say, "UK Trumps", it's "Trumps - UK". This makes it much easier to find the category you are looking for.
