Yoshi's Cookie Incident
From The Extended Group
On June 12th, 2007 several group members were gathered in Jeremy's living room to play older Super Nintendo games. After the classic Super Street Fighter II, the games began to degenerate in quality and were played more for novelty purposes. The lesser regarded games played included "Mega Man Soccer" and "World Heroes".
The group began to play the game "Yoshi's Cookie", which permitted the players to enter a three character name for their player. The name "JEW" was entered for a match between Gavin and Kevin and this led to the hilarious situation of the game flashing the phrases "JEW PANIC" and "JEW SLAVE" when the pace of the game began to pick up. While it was understandable that "PANIC" simply meant that the game had much going on at once on screen, it is questionable why the third party developer "Bullet-Proof Software" would have included the word "SLAVE" at all.
