Stuart Demands New Years Eve Walk to 7-11
From The Extended Group
The time Stuart Demanded a New Years' Eve Walk to 7-11 took place in Junior Year of high school, when John Edwards, Chris Goiney and Stuart Young were sharing a pleasent evening of violent multiplayer "Chu-Chu Rocket" and questionable mexican-themed chip dip. After a couple hours of competition, John's left armpit became frighteningly sweaty and Stuart became increasingly frustrated at his repeated close losses to John (Chris remained a distant third for most the evening).
When Stuart reached his boiling point, he demanded that the trio walk up Innis Arden Way, past Shoreview Park to the 7-11 on aurora so he could buy a chili dog for bargain prices (This could be considered an early manifestation of "Stuart Being Cheap"). After close to 30 minutes of debate, Stuart revised his tactics and began convincing John and Chris to walk with him just to the top of the hill to investigate a high-density, low-cost housing development that had been on his mind for weeks.
John and Chris wearily conceeded defeat and the three hiked up the hill. After looking at several normal-looking houses, Stuart pointed out that 7-11 was now much closer than it had been when they were at home. Despite John and Chris' repeated suggestion that there might be "asian gangsters" a-foot, they could not refute Stuart's evidence that 7-11 was indeed closer, so they began the journey to aurora.
On their way to 7-11, John, Stuart and Chris noticed a white Mazda van careening down a nearby street. The van stopped and the doors opened to reveal a wild-eyed Jeremy and a Brett-looking Brett (other possible occupants of the vehicle: Terry and Gavin. Actual occupants unknown at this time however). Chris, John and Stuart got in the van and Jeremy began to drive down many frightening alleys on their way to 7-11.
Stuart finally got his chili-dog, and it was suggested that the group head to Brett's house. As Jeremy drove, he would randomly swerve, flash his headlights on and off and chuckle/moan to himself. After a brief respite in Brett's basement (where it was suggested that a leper cousin of his once lived) the group piled into Jeremy's van and drove off.
Jeremy came upon another car, which swerved suspiciously, leading the occupants of Jeremy's vehicle to suggest that the driver may be intoxicated. Without warning, Jeremy began to follow the suspicious driver, following them into their driveway where he parked directly behind them. Jeremy's passangers, already agitated, began to yell at Jeremy to pull out and leave. After the confusing, yet hilarious scene, Jeremy finally drove off.
