Naked Cyclops is the epithet of Nathan.
Origin
Contrary to conventional wisdom, the nickname is not based on the idea of an unclothed form of the Kyklops of ancient Greek mythology (although future parodies would indeed capitalize on this notion). In the Summer of 2000, Kevin was conversing with Danny Hitt over the phone before heading off to Shorewood to skate. Kevin mentioned that "Nathan Sikov" would be joining them on the outing, to which Danny responded incredulously "Naked Cyclops?!". After the correction was made, several minutes of laughter by all parties ensued. Ever since the incident, Nathan has worn the title proudly, owing to the strong tradition of irony in XG culture.
