Lukas Receives Poor Service at a Vietnamese Restaurant

This is a fairly recent incident that took place at the beginning of 2007 for Lukas' birthday. Lukas had elected for his family and friends to join him at a Vietnamese restaurant in the international district of Seattle. Lukas, Elias, Asher, Gavin and Kevin were the XG members involved and also Lukas' two sisters, his brother in law and both parents also came along.

Two vehicles were used for transport, the first being Lukas' EuroVan and the second was Gavin's Subaru. Gavin insisted that Lukas ride shotgun as besides the birthday obligations it is well known that Lukas possesses the strongest navigational abilities of the group. It is also known that he possesses the strongest navigational arrogance. The drive to the restaurant was largely uneventful aside from minor parking disagreements that were manageable.

Upon entering the restaurant the group was seated and orders were taken with Gavin ordering a bowl of chicken Pho and Asher ordering something with sugarcane in it. Controversy erupted as the food arrived and Lukas was left emptyhanded and empty stomached. The waiter was not of top caliber and had mixed up placing Lukas' order which meant that it was not until everyone else had their food before them that Lukas' order was even sent to the kitchen. This is not believed to be related to the "Good Cop/Bad Cop" attitude of Korean waiters at Hosoonyi but was simply an isolated case of bad service.

This incident was notable for how Lukas' entire family was observable and for how later Gavin nearly plowed into some pedisterians.
