Bahthink
From The Extended Group
Bahthink is a frame of mind that categorically dismisses seemingly important aspects of life, usually by saying the word "bah." In The Extended Group this has come to refer to attitudes of extreme apathy, and is generally associated with the emotional states of Andy and Jamie.
Origin
The term is a loose play on "doublethink," the act of simultaneously accepting contradictory truths, as described in George Orwell's novel 1984. Bahthink was invented during a bull session about group behavior between Kevin and Brett.
Uses
Despite everyday uses of the word "bah," the philosophy of bahthink briefly took on a more significant role with the introduction of the Bah-Guff System of Rating Girls' Attractiveness.
