6th Grade Walkathon Scandal

This controversial incident took place in Mrs. Barich's sixth grade highly capable class room at Meridian Park Elementary School. The XG members of Gavin, Terry, Stuart and Nathan were all a part of this class. The walkathon was an annual event intended to raise money for something or another and students would gather a certain amount of pledges before hand and prizes were promised to students that raised the most money or walked the most laps around the track.

Scandal struck the walkathon when Gavin, Terry and Michael Woods all began to cheat on their lap punchcards by employing underhanded methods of receiving extra punches. It should be noted that this was by no means placing any of these students in danger of winning the race and that it likely meant more money for the school. Nevertheless these ethical violations were not tolerated and Michael was apprehended following a tip from class narc Anna Lindvall. Curiously Gavin was not implicated although he was right next to Michael during the cheating. As a result of the incident Michael was denied a post-race popsicle and according to recent interviews still bears a grudge over the incident. Terry's fate is unknown.
