The Date

We both noticed Jimmy paying attention to my wife. At a dinner party, where seating was at a premium, Sue sat next to Jimmy on one of the couches, and I sat next to the couch on a ladder backed chair, while everyone told stories about driving in snow, doing donuts in parking lots, and general mayhem while we were kids.

Jimmy put his arm around her. Now this was a close bunch of folks and affectionate, but Jimmy had never put his arm around Sue. We were both friendly with him, and we always planned on having dinner or drinks sometime, but life got in the way, and it never happened.

So, after the holidays, when we got a call from Jimmy inviting us over for dinner, we were rather surprised, until we remembered him cuddling with her.

After dinner and into the second glass of wine, Jimmy asked, "I'd like to date your wife, Brian." Sue squeaked behind her hand and blushed. She's a strong personality and a force to be reckoned with, but in the bedroom with me, she's very submissive. We also have an open marriage, though she hadn't dated anyone for years.
