College student meets a barista. Fun, flirty, cute. After a week, he asks her out.

"They'll never say 'yes', if you don't ask them." Father was a high-powered business negotiator. He meant it in terms of negotiating deals, but Jack took it as dating advice. He had learned in high school, once he got up the nerve, that girls more often than not said 'yes' to an offer to go out on a date.

They always had money. He worked in high school for fun money, because his dad believed in earning your own way. But he had the use of a car. Jack only needed to put gas in it. In college, his dad is paying for school, but Jack pays for the apartment, food, and entertainment on his job.

Janice is the daughter of hippy parents, a free-spirit, pagan. She goes to rituals and festivals to accumulate energy, then finds someone to take home and use some of that energy. She never wears makeup, has a quick sexy smile, loves flirting and sex, high energy, vegetarian. Her parents were never poor, but were school teachers. Her mother teaches grade school, her dad is a university professor.

He asks her out, she says 'yes'. They have a lovely meal, she takes him home for sex. "Why wait until the third date or whatever? I already know I want to have sex with you. Sex is for fun and enjoyment, dating is for seeing if there is longer term potential. So let's get to the sex, have a great time in bed, and then decide if we want to keep dating."

Jack is blown away. He's been with several girls, but no one so free and wild.
