A term often used to refer to the 'tier one', or the first competitors involved in the SOTF ACT. First generation characters include Adam Dodd, Aiden Ambrose, Daisuke Andou, Tayli E. Vreeland, Sydney Morvran, Helena Van Garrett, Jacob Starr, Xian Chun, Cole Quentin Hudson and Hawley Faust, Gabrielle Minase, Niniko Kishinawa, August Masbeth and Terry Woodard...

The first generation characters have left their mark all over the island, and although some never made it past day 1, some have gone on living right up until today. Some characters, such as Helena Van Garrett, bit the bullet only hours after their creation. Currently, only one remains, fighting Danya and trying to stay alive; that one is Adam Dodd.
