Madelaine Shirohara Day
From Sotf Wiki
Date: June 25th
Information: Sometime between the first and third version of the game (2005 - 2007), June 25th, the day first round contestant Madelaine Shirohara was brutally raped and murdered on Survival of the Fittest, was designated Madelaine Shirohara Day in New York. Madelaine was what could only be described as selfless and loyal throughout her time in SOTF, often looking after other people when it would have been in her best interests to look after herself. She was also the first contestant in SOTF to become a victim of rape. Madelaine's plight struck a chord with millions of people around the entire nation, and after her passing, the state of New York christened that day in her memory.
Other Information: It is believed that other days have been created for students (presumably from both the first and second rounds of the game) who showed selfless performance and made an attempt to help people throughout the havoc of the SOTF ACT, but none of those other days have been revealed. Madelaine Shirohara Day was brought to light during V3 when Adam Dodd mentions it in passing to Gabriel Theobaldt.
