Time Distortionists

The Time Distortionists are a group of beings that opposed Fate's destruction of the universe by launching three Control of Destiny Campaigns and using the power of the Chrono. Originally composed of six members from the planet Micras, by the height of their power they had thousands of members on hundreds of planets and eventually triumped over Fate in a climatic showdown on the Plane of Corruption.

Brief History
Origins
Originally the six core members of the Time Distortionists were engineers on the planet Micras working on a Society for World Improvement research project named the Temporal Relocator Project. The purpose of the project was to store time energy for study so that time travel could be developed. However the machine created to harness the time energy gave of a massive shockwave that did significant damage to the city of Ptia and engulfed the research lab in terrible radiation. Everyone on Micras assumed that the engineers had been killed. In reality, however, they were thrown into the Existance Core where they learned of Fate with the help of the mysterious Avatar.
Originally the TDs tried to fight Fate with force. Fate's armies were mortal and could be killed. However after a long string of defeats due to overwhelming forces and being unable to significantly damage Fate itself when it came to consume a world, the team changed course and attacked Fate's operations on the Plane of Life. Despite the operation being a success, one of the original members was killed and, more importantly, Fate learned the location of Micras and prepared to anhillate the homeworld of the Time Distoritionists.
A meeting with Rii'Iia on Micras lead the TD's to discover the power of Chrono that could oppose Fate. They surrounded Micras with a chrono shield that halted Fate's attacks, but to kill Fate itself they needed to be able to use the Chrono in its purest form. They discovered that three women across Micras's history could use this ability but current events did not allow them to tap it fully. Thus the Time Distoritionists began a number of campaigns to alter Micras's history to enhance the power of the Chrono.

Control of Destiny 1
The Time Distortionists oversaw the first Control of Destiny campaign mostly from a distance. They intevened with Jason and his crew only twice. First, they sent time portals to nudge the team in certain directions. Second, they created and trained a "fake" copy of Amy Leonarkos to act as the team's guide in certain situations. The net result of the first campaign was that the future was altered so that the "true" form of Amy could come into existance.
Control of Destiny 2
Unfortunately the clumsy alteration of time by the Control of Destiny Team in the first campaign put strain on the Elemental Seal to the point where it begain to weaken and send energy back to the Fate Distortion Crystals, allowing the walls between different dimensions to open. Fate took advantage of the situation and used the fallen demigoddess Atropos to encourage the dimensions to fight, further weakening the Elemental Seal. Originally the Time Distortionists believed that the Fate Restortion Cyrstals's power could stop the war and encouraged them to draw power; however later on they realized that this was exactly the thing they did NOT want to happen. Key members of the TDs met with the Control of Destiny team and also awoke the sleeping remanent of the Micron race to solve the situation. In the end Atropos was defeated and the Elemental Seal restored.
Control of Destiny 3
Sensing the growing power of the Chrono on Micras, Fate sent down his avatar Diga to attempt to assassinate the Chrono girls. The Time Distortionists realized that the final battle was coming and personally came to Micras to defend the girls. In the far past, Pia'Sur became a high magi in the Triad government and Sai'Kar's protector. Infiel Galebrush aided Empress Leos in Jasonia's fight against Shireroth and the Rasinate. Sirithil nos Feanor helped Amy Leonarkos escape from Diga's minions in the future. All three girls were kept out of harm's way and Diga was destroyed.
Finally, after untold years of fighting, the Time Distortionists marched on the Plane of Shadows. Lead by the Chrono girls and using the full power of the Chrono, Fate's minions were beat back and Fate itself annihilated by the time energy.
