The history of Menelmacar is quite an unusual one, as its existance itself cheats time.

Menelmacar's Beginning

The history of Menelmacar ranges all the way back to the Age of Fantasy. (Circa about 10,250 BC) At that time, there was only one nation of elves, Elivia, which controlled the continent/island north-east of Micronae/Tapfer. The Koada'Dal, or the High Elves as humans call them, were alarmed at the increasing population of the Wild Feir'Dal (Wood Elves) as they spread their wild nature throughout Elivia. Druidic magical use greatly increased, and some Koada'Dal felt that they needed living space to pratice their own arcane magics. A young Sorceress named Sirithil nos Feanor led this group of dissented Koada'Dal. She asked for permission from the Elenaran and Elentari (King and Queen) of Elivia to settle a new land to spread Tunare's glory. The Elenaran was displeased at the fact that the group of Koada'Dal wanted to leave Elivia (Since the Nobility of Elivia are Koada'Dal themselves) but decided to let them to go ahead. The Koada'Dal wanting to leave gathered their supplies, plus some scrolls of Arcane Magic, with them on ships to sail the great Sea of Bristlebane.

Months passed by, and the sailbound elves began to consume their supplies. The conjuerers summoned food and water to be able to feed their companions, but soon they tired out from all the work. Eventually, after 3 months of travel, they reached land. However, this land was not the great green lush forested land of their homes, but a dry, hot desert. They named this land Babkha. The elves tried to plan for another trip try to reach another land, but they were very low on supplies and would have to get more. So the Koada'Dal tried to rough it up and stay in Babkha for awhile.

Sirithil ordered her scouts to explore the land in search of native tribes to be able to help the elves get supplies. The elves searched for days until they reached an encampment of large humans, who called themselves the Florenets, whose leader was Zarathustra.. The Koada'Dal quickly became friendly with the Florenets, who worshipped Erutin, God of Entropy and the desert, as the Florenets helped the elves find sources of food and water near a large lake inland. However, the Florenets did not mention that they were in war with the nearby natives, the Dwarves.

Soon, however, this unknowingnest turned to disaster. As a group of elves gathered food from the lake area with the Florenets, a raiding party of Dwarves suprise attacked the gatherers. The elves and Florenets fought bravely, but sadly all of them were slaughtered, except for one scout who managed to escape. The dying scout managed to reach Sirithil and warn her about the Dwarves. Sirithil was greatly angered, and prepared the Koada'Dal for battle. An alliance of the elves and the Florenets marched towards the Dwarven lands. Using the arcane magic and agility of the Koada'Dal, and the brutal power of the Florenets, the alliance won many skirmishes, until they reached they reached Mount Duranian, where the majority of Dwarven cities were located. The elves were not prepared to fight in the dark mountains, and many elves died. Sirithil herself lead the battle until they reached a mining town named Kaladim. A dwarven army was prepared there. The Koada'Dal Evokers casted destructive arcane spells as the Florenets charged the Dwarves. Heavy casulities had happened on both sides, but eventually the Dwarves surrendered. The elves, not wanting to live in the hot lands of Babkha, asked for the Dwarves just to give them enough supplies to rebuild their fleet to travel the wild seas again. The Dwarves reluctently agreed, and the Koada'Dal sailed again. Zarathustra did not want to leave his elven friends, so him and the Florenets traveled with the Koada'Dal.

This time, the Koada'Dal followed the coastline of Babkha until the coastline ran west to east. Knowing that the lands known is to the west, they dared to go to the unknown areas of the Western World. They sensed a dark presence nearby as they headed west - indeed, they were sailing through the Stygian Sea, the sea near the Imperial/Orcish/Ogrian continent of Evhelia. Originally tring to sail north where the closest land was located, a dark and dangerous storm destroyed a few of the ships and moved the remaining ships further east. When the elves woke up from the terrible storm, they found themselves in a lush green forested and diverse land. The elves here could sense the Quintessence of Pure Life in abundance here, as much as their original home of Elivia, but without the nearby settlements of the other species. The Koada'Dal decided to settle here, and they moved south near a second island. They founded the settlement of Menelmacar, meaning stronghold of the elves, and named the islands after their leader, Sirithil, by calling it Feanoria. At this time, only Forod Feanoria was settled.

Menelmacar during the Early Golden Age

Unlike the other races, Menelmacar was neutral in the Great War of Destruction in 10000 BC and was hardly effected. However, after the Imperials were exiled, some Menelmacari had travelled to the former, now abandoned continent of Evhelia, and founded Jaiha. Unknowing to the Menelmacari, the Coral Islands which was incorperated into Jaiha were home to a tribe of Aqua Elves. However, the Aqua Elves welcomed the Menelmacari and became Menelmacari themselves. They became elite soldiers of the sea. Jaiha also attracted most of the Menelmacari Florenets, as well as Feir'Dal from Elivia. Jaiha was generally much less orderly than the High Elven lands of Forod Feanoria. As the Great War of Destruction passed, time seemed to pass fast as well. Technology advances were slower than modern day human civilization, of course, but Menelmacar began to flourish. Harad Feanoria became colonized by Villa Microns who wanted to get away from the urban development of Micronae and continue their traditional society. When Hypon was discovered in 8000 BC, there was generally a lot less use for it in Harad Feanoria than back in Micronae, but however it stil was used.

In 4800 BC, a great discovery for the elves have occured - they had discovered Silmarien. Similar to the energy of Hypon, Silmarien was the elven counterpart - filled with the quintessence of life, and Tunare's gift to the elves. Although it could not be used to enchant building materials, it was an excellent energy source. There was no need to tire mages out for the growing energy needs of the elves, nor to burn wood, as the elves could use their own Silmarien to power what was needed. This brought a great industrial boost to the elven countries.

Menelmacar During The Late Golden Age

As Menelmacar continued to gain new immigrants from Elivia, Elivia began to weaken as a world power. Elivian elves even considered Menelmacari elves to be arrogant and stubborn as Menelmacar refused to be involved in the affairs of the other nations. Eventually, in 1500 BC, Elivia signed a pact with the Human Kingdom of Tapfer, and the Micron Kingdom of Micronae, to create the Triad of Three Alliance. This treaty merged each kingdom together to form one supercountry - Elpidos, with its capital being the human trade-city of Ptia. The feelings among the elves were mixed; Elivian elves were happy that they could thrive once again, as merging with the other nations would creatly boost its slow economy. The Menelmacari felt threatened by this new superpower and refused to merge with Tapfer and Micronae. Those who did not want to live in the new multiracial nation emmigrated to Menelmacar, still under the leadership of the amazingly long-lived Elentari, Sirithil nos Feanor. While Elpidos increased its military and science spending to ensure world power, Menelmacar worked on internal affairs. Each nation continued to progress further on until great incedents changed the nations forever.

In the year 100 BC, Sirithil nos Feanor vanished from the Menelmacari palace. Menelmacari elves generally panicked - they had just lost their leader! A Koada'Dal who had been raised in the Feir'Dal woods of Jaiha, and fellow friend of Sirithil nos Feanor, took the regency until her majesty could be found. However, it was not to be, in this age at least. Menelmacar dwindled in clout as Elpidos had recently grown even larger. However, Elpidos had become secretly more and more corrupt as the T3 alliance, ruled by mostly the Microns now, sought to take control over the whole nation and stop the meritocracy in its tracks.

But what had happened to Sirithil? The great sorceress was 11,000 years old, and she had just dissapeared! It had turned out that she had joined the Time Distortionists; her great magical power greatly intrigued the Time Distortionists. Sirithil knew her fate, and the fate of her nation. She knew that she will eventually have to return to Micras and save her people. She knew what would happen in 100 years, and with the permission of fellow Time Distortionists, planned something outstanding.

In 1 BC/1 AD, days before the Imperials had striken Micras, the entire civilization on the archipelio of Feanoria had dissapeared without a trace. The elves that had lived there were gone, as well as the cities and all signs of civilization. This had panicked the nation of Elpidos, as it is obviously not an every day occurence for an entire nation to dissapear, albeit a dwindling one. Days later, the Eve of Destruction occured. With so much horror the years that followed, some wished that they had simply dissapeared along with the Menelmacari.

Torpor of Menelmacar

Sirithil nos Feanor had, with all of the Time Distortionists, teleported to Harad Feanoria. Using the most magnificant spell ever in existance, the Time Distortionists had frozen Menelmacar in place - They would not be effected by the Eve of Destruction. In order to preserve the lives of those under the Torpor, Sirithil translocated the elven civilization in the spell to the Plane of Nature - The Plane of Tunare, Goddess of Life, and the quintessence of Life. The elves slept peacefully in stoicism for over 2000 years, until it was time for them to wake up.

When the elves regained consciousness, they found themselves back at Feanoria. However, the world was... different. They saw remnents of an abandoned human settlement where they had woken up, and wondered how humans had the nerve to settle in Feanoria.
