A little on the shorter side compared to some, Katsuro stands at 171 cm, with a slightly slender build, though it would be a blatant lie to say that he's scrawny. True to his Asian heritage, his hair and eyes are both black (or as some would say, an extremely dark brown). He has never been a fan of odd hair colors, though he will occasionally highlight his hair. At first glance, Katsuro may seem unkempt or at least somewhat rumpled, but he claims that everything is artistically arranged and exactly the way it should be. His wardrobe varies.
Katsuro's PB is Suzuki Hiroki.
Personality
Cocky and just a little spoiled, Katsuro is fairly smart and knows it, but he doesn't study (probably more because of the fact that he can scrape by without stressing out over every little thing). He claims that he would do better than everyone else is he wanted to, though of course he doesn't, ignoring the old adage about the difference between those who succeed and those who do not.
Fairly friendly except to people he feels threatened by, Katsuro dislikes anyone he thinks might be smarter than him, especially if someone has done better than him on something. He'll tell himself that it doesn't matter because it's not like he studied for it -- but it does matter, because then deep down he thinks, "Maybe this person really is smarter than me." However, he knows that, as long as he doesn't try for real, then no one will no for sure, and his pride will stay intact.
All in all, Katsuro isn't particularly witty, though he has a tendency to get right up in your face about certain things. He can be outright spiteful. Everything of his is messy -- some kind of organized mess, though he claims that the messiness helps him stay in tune with his creative side (it's doubtful that he even has one). He claims a great number of things. Some are true. Most aren't. Of course, some just haven't been proven. Katsuro is fiercely loyal to his friends, possibly because he believes that anyone willing to tolerate him for so long really deserves it.
History
Katsuro was born in Atlanta, Georgia, to a newly-wed couple who dreamed of making it big in the business industry. As it turns out, they got off to a rocky start, the family floundering in the ruins of several failed small businesses after the years passed by. When Katsuro was three, his mother lapsed into illness, and with the family unable to keep up with the medical bills, eventually died. Katsuro's father, determined not to let the lack of money overcome them like that ever again, moved back to Japan to give his business one last shot, taking his son with him.
There, he stumbled across a lucky break and finally did "make it big" and, in the long run, also remarried. Katsuro, too young at the time of his mother's death, remembered very little about her. As a result, he cheerfully accepted (or rather, tolerated) his new stepmother, a rising actress who spent more time away from home than in it.
All said and done, Katsuro grew up as a fairly normal�albeit pampered�child, so much that he usually ended up avoiding his parents and any relatives who would be hanging around at the time. He had few friends, but was content with the way things were. His father generally let him have his own way with things, which Katsuro took advantage of by sleeping when he should be doing homework, slacking when he should be studying. It's surprising how high his test scores turned out to be, especially compared to certain other things in his life.
Making him attend Second Heaven was the first significant thing Katsuro's father has ever done (unless you count the whole giving birth part).
