Jan 2, 2008 The visibility was not good, there were many clouds. Almost two hours after sunset it was not difficult at all to see Venus, as it is the brightest object in the sky next to Moon. Through the 12.5 mm eyepiece Venus looked very small, also I saw it like through a fog. But I clearly saw the disk, and it looked like a half-moon, with exactly half of the disk visible.
