Damien "Faschit" Medhurst OBE was the first Fat Person to receive the Order of the British Empire. During his years as lawyer for Pervy, Turner and Nathan Page, he came up against many obstacles, including an extraordinary Chin and many drunk judges. Sam Weston was a close ally. Before 1989, little is known of Medhurst, although records show he won a Zebby Award five times consecutively between 1972 and 1977.
