Star Piece

A useful item from the Paper Mario series. They are scattered all over the Mushroom Kingdom. At the base of Shooting Star Summit lives a couple of brothers and sisters named Merlow and Merluvlee. Merlow lives upstairs and collects Star Pieces. He will trade you his badges for them, if you have enough. This is ideal for collecting badges such as Peekaboo and Heart Finder. Most Star Pieces are hard to find, some even resting in floor tiles. There are a lot to collect.
