Corol

The Corol are four-legged, furred animals that are generally predatory and aggressive. Unlike their natural opponent, the Vios, Corol are fast-acting creatures with short and furious life-cycles. They are known for their foul temper and strength, as they are often in competition with each other for prospective mates, food, and territory. Frequently the Corol, when forming hunting packs to take down a particularly tough Beryl or Kallameh, will spontaneously break into an all-out brawl of primal rage- leading most of the time to escaped prey and even fouler tempers.

[edit] Conflict with the Vios

For as long as anyone can remember, the Vios and Corol have been fierce rivals, as they both have occupied the same spot as the top predator on Vein, their home planet. While being vastly stronger, more intelligent, and better equipped to fight than any other creatures on their planet, the Vios and Corol are almost exactly on par with each other. The long life spans of the Vios compared to their relative durability and intelligence directly, and complementarily, contrasts the short, weaker, and less bright Corol. Both species have an equal amount of positives and negatives, leading to a environmental stalemate that has been going on for generations upon generations.
