Personality
Jeremy has rarely found a girl that he couldn't sweep off of her feet. Though he's never rude to any of the girls that he snogs, very few of them really mean anything to him. Honestly, he's afraid of a serious romantic relationship because he's never seen one actually work. Jeremy is hopelessly addicted to sex and has a great deal of trouble turning a girl down if that is what she decided she wants. (Until recently, he hasn't even had the motivation to turn down any female.)
He's very fun-loving and would rather be out roaming the halls and looking for something to do than in a classroom thinking about work. He gets along with most people, though he has been in his share of fights and he doesn't appear to really care about class or bloodlines.
If asked, he will likely say that he is a pureblood. (Very few people know the truth.) This isn't a consious lie. At least, it's not any more. He's know all of his life that he was a half-blood but he was raised as a pureblood. In short, he was raised to lie. If you ask him today, he'll answer "pureblood" out of habit. Sometimes the boy honestly believes that he is what he's said he is for all of these years.
Strengths
Jeremy does well in Potions and Charms. The classes come naturally to him and he doesn't have to study or show up really. He prides himself in being a ladies man and up until recently, he'd done it well and not gotten into much trouble with it. They boy doesn't lack in the confidence department and can normally achieve anything he sets his mind to. When motivated, he can excel at everything he does. He's truly a caring individual and would do anything to help a friend.
Weaknesses
Where as Jeremy can do well in Potions and Charms without trying, his other classes don't come so easily. Unfortunately, he rarely applies himself. He is awful at Transfiguration (even when he does try). He's lazy and takes Divination, CoMC and Herbology because he thinks they are birdy classes (meaning you can fly right through and they've rarely let him down.). Jeremy doesn't have any real goals for the future and though he started out as a very driven, motivated boy, he really only intends to live off of his trust fund and have fun. Hey, there's nothing wrong with that, right? Much like his future, his main agenda at Hogwarts, is to have a good time.
History
Jeremy is a half-blood but he keeps that to himself. His mother was a barmaid, his father a wizard. Sparks flew when they met and that created Jeremy. After Jeremy was born, his mother and father agreed that he would benefit more from living with his father. His mother, knowing nothing of the wizarding world, didn't realize how hard it would be to find him later in life. His father is a wealthy pureblood who cares a great deal about blood lines or has always put forth the effort to look like he did. Jeremy's muggle mother was rarely spoken of when he was a child. Around the age of 6, his father married his step-mother.
When first starting school, Jeremy was very driven and motivated to be the best he could be. He wanted to make something of himself, though he wasn't sure what that was and he had a thirst to be just as good as the pureblood he pretended to be. However, during his third year, he learned how easy it was to blow off classes... and that, combined with the realization that he didn't exactly have to work for anything or work to make people believe his bloodline, made him into the slacker he is today.
During his seventh year at Hogwarts, Jeremy finally met his birth mother - Mari Sawyer - during a chance meeting between her and his father at Hogwarts and learned he has a whole set of half-siblings, including Bryant Sawyer with whom he holds a mutual animosity and Isabella Sawyer who he completely adores.
Relationships
- Richard Pitt - Jeremy and his father are very much alike. They get along perfectly and they love one another very much. Growing up, Jeremy only had his father. Sure, he had a step mother but everyone in the house knew that Richard dealt with all aspects of raising Jeremy. (Which is why he never called the woman "Mum".)
- Mari Sawyer - Jeremy has only met his mother recently. However, he loved her almost instantly. He's spent the majority of his life wondering about her, wishing that he could meet her. Actually have her in his life is a dream come true.
- Dari Davison - Jeremy has lived next door to Dari their entire lives. They were inseparable growing up and no one was really surprised when their relationship took a more sexual nature. Above all else, Dari is his best friend. He loves her dearly and would do anything for her.
- Nicolette Edmunds - Nic and Jeremy have known one another since their first year at Hogwarts. Up until this year, he's considered her a very good friend... nothing more. A kiss was exchanged and Nic admitted to liking him as more than a friend for the last several years. Snogging continued. They increased the amount of time they spent together... and almost without realizing it, he's fallen for the girl... can't imagine his life without her. Nic makes him want to be a better person.
- Izzy Sawyer - Jeremy and Izzy met the same day that Jeremy met his mother. Almost instantly -as if they had known one another all along- they adored one another. He truly enjoys spending time with his little sister and would literally kill for her.
- Bryant Sawyer - Bryant and Jeremy have known one another for several years. Apart from their mutual dislike of their houses, there was an incident with a girl (Savannah White) and they've never gotten along. This year, Jeremy found out that Bry is is brother. They've fought and now things seem to be rocking along okay. He would never admit it to anyone but he wants to get along with his brother... he would like for them to have a relationship that doesn't include getting punched in the face.
