Hannah Salix
Hannah can be rather contradictory. She's extremely loyal to those that she loves, yet if she feels that they have wronged her, she'll cut them out of her life... or beat them up. She loves to argue and fight with people. Sometimes, she'll just randomly pick a fight with someone. To most people that she meets for the first time, she tries to be personable. However, if she's in a bad mood then she probably won't be very nice. She can be extremely vindictive at times, and will go to almost any length to humiliate someone if she feels that they deserve it. Despite all of these negative tendencies, she can be very sweet. However, sweetness and kindness are regarded as weaknesses to her, so she rarely allows herself to let her guard down and be nice. On occasion, Hannah has been known to be quiet and subdued. This would be when she's despondent (like anyone else would be) or if she's studying. Yes, she does study. And surprisingly enough, she's rather good at it. Of course, that's only in small regulated doses. Hannah craves crazy wacky adventures. Studying just doesn't provide that.
One of the major flaws in her personality is her choice of role models. She can be very suggestible and thrives on attention from whoever she picks as a role model. Her adoration of her older brother has definitely influenced how she sees people. Characters who are good at manipulation such as Alex Departie will have an easy time impressing Hannah. As loathe as she is to admit it, she loves praise and attention from people. One might even call her a "fangirl".
Strengths
Magical
She is excellent at Charms and has improved her hexing ability since she's been enemies with Lucas Longshore. Hannah isn't excellent at dueling, though if she really worked at it, I'm sure she could be. With proper motivation, Hannah could be excellent at DADA as well. Another class that she really enjoys is Divination. She doesn't put that much effort into it, but it does hold her interest, and she likes tarot cards and tea leaves. Her flying skill is decent, though she rarely flies so it isn't as good as it could be.
Personality
Personality wise, she's extremely loyal and would do anything for someone that she loves. When she disagrees with something, she'll speak up and voice her opinion, rarely caring who hears her. Hannah can't be pushed around, and once she decided on something, she sticks to it. Surprisingly enough, she gets along with younger kids. Pimento, Gillichu, Ethan, are just a handful of first and second years that she gets along with. Hannah is protective of her friends and for the most part won't stand for any of them being hurt or mocked. She generally doesn't care what most people think of her, and has a decent amount of self-confidence.
Weaknesses
Magical
Hannah is absolutely horrid at Potions. Her attention span doesn't really help her grades in classes like History of Magic or Muggle Studies. The subjects bore her and she lacks the discipline to ignore distractions and focus. When magic is more detail oriented and thinking oriented, she has more trouble. Her strengths are more associated with magic that she has naturally.
Personality
Hannah tends to take things too personally and reacts too rashly. Her temper often gets her into trouble and has been known to be taken out on her friends. Hannah also gets rather obsessive when she needs to find out information, or needs to complete a certain task. She is much harsher than needed and she tends to find evil people exciting and cool. She has really poor coping issues and usually resorts to violence, whether self-inflicted or on others. Also, her perception of how others see her is very skewed and her emotional intelligence such as predicting others' reactions or emotions is usually way off.
History
Both of Hannah's parents aren't close to their families. They both left at a young age and didn't look back.
DeSailly Family: Hannah's Grandparents: Didier Alain DeSailly and Odessa Bibiane DeSailly (Leroy) Didier is a well-respected member of the high Pureblood society. He has been a suspected DE for many years, but has never been found guilty in court. He's got friends in high places, and doesn't get his hands too dirty. Odessa is the perfect High-Society wife. She knows the right people, attends the right parties and basically keeps and up to date list of who's who in the Pureblood Wizarding World.
Hannah's Aunts, Uncles and Mother:
Pascale Odessa DeSailly, and Eric Sanguin Allemand. Pascale is a particularly nasty woman. Being the eldest, her father always doted on her. Her mother made sure that she was brought up as a well-mannered young lady. Pascale, however, was easily bored and would often sneak out and wreak havoc. She was very cruel to her non-Pureblood classmates. Also, she enjoyed torturing Muggles and the like, and has been on trial quite a few times. However, her father has always bailed her out. Pascale's husband was not so lucky. He has been in Azkaban for about 10 years. They have 2 children, Celine Noella Barthez(Allemand) and Stephane Armand Allemand.
Abigail Magalis DeSailly, and Marshall Andrew Salix Abigail has always rebelled against her parents. She didn't want to have any part of the family business and as soon as she got to enter Hogwarts, she was barely home at all. She didn't go home for the holidays, and was often travelling over the summers. By the time she'd come of age, she had written her parents, accepted that she was out of the will and would be left penniless. She was pleased that her family agreed to leave her alone and let her go. Abby married Marshall Salix, which of course pleased the family since he was a secret pureblood. Yada yada yada, they had 2 kids. Gabriel and Hannah.
Thierry Gerard DeSailly and Soleil Remy DeSailly(Corniers) Thierry is the only son of Didier and Odessa. Therefore, he learned at a young age that it was up to him to continue on the family name. His marriage was arranged of course, and he basically did whatever his father told him. He's not particularly enthused about being involved with Death Eaters, but he does what he has to do. He figures that he was born into it. Also, since Abigail left at an early age, he didn't really have anyone to stick up for him. He married Soleil and they had 2 children.
Hannah's Cousins:
Celine Noelle Allemand Daughter of Pascale and Eric. She is the eldest grandchild of Didier and Odessa, therefore she was spoiled rotten. She was told that she was better than anyone who wasn't a Pureblood and also that she was better than most of the other Purebloods. She grew up getting whatever she wanted, no matter what she had to do. She killed a classmate when she was 16 years old. It was covered up, but she bragged about it to her friends. As soon as she finished school, she married Gaston Aubergine Barthez. They were married for a few years until they both got into some trouble and Celine gave her husband up to the Ministry. He's now in Azkaban and she's running around having fun.
Stephane Armand Allemand Yes, he has a stupid name. And, he is also kind of dim-witted. Though he's only a year younger than his sister, she was always treated better. He's the only son of Pascale and Eric. He's pretty much just the muscle for the DE's. Surprisingly though, he hasn't been caught yet. Perhaps he isn't as slow as he makes himself out to be. Or maybe he is. Really, it's a toss up.
Bari Didier DeSailly The Golden Boy of the family. He's probably the favorite of the grandchildren, especially since he was named after his grandfather. He is very good looking, charming, intelligent. He's a real catch, ladies. At first it was thought that his marriage would be arranged as well, but Bari has assured the family that he will chose the perfect bride himself. The choice he made is Mariee Isolde, who is from a respected pureblood family. Both families are very happy with this union.
Isabelle Bibiane DeSailly Precious Isabelle. She has her mother's sunny disposition (get it? Soleil?) and also has been molded into the perfect society girl. Was one of the prettiest at her Debutante Ball. Her ambition is to marry the correct guy and start a family. She's a daddy's girl and just wants to make her father proud.
Salix Family: Celestyn Henri and Gautier Salix are both from respected Pureblood families. However, those two are probably the craziest people in the world. They had four children: Nicolas, Aceline, Marshall and Alexis. Marshall was a special case, as both parents thought he was a squib. In a rare form of mercy, they simply left him in a random place one day. He was found by a Muggle family, the Cortiers and raised by them. Marshall was not a squib however and did receive a letter from Hogwarts when he was ten. Once the Salix family realized this, they kept an eye on him in case they were going to have to claim him again.
Marshall's older sister, Aceline, married Avent Moreau and they had 3 children. Fabien, Claude and Aurelia. Fabien was killed in a freak accident in November of 2005. Aurelia is the new DADA professor at Hogwarts.
Hannah's immediate family:
Marshall Salix(father): Pureblood, thought to be a squib so given to Muggle Family when he was a baby. He grew up thinking he was Muggleborn. He's not a great wizard though and dropped out of Hogwarts after his third year. He likes the Muggle life, and that's what he went back to. He met Hannah's mother, Abby, during his time at Hogwarts. They met again just after Abby's last year at Hogwarts (1983). Fell in love, married, yippee. At this time, neither knew that Marshall was pureblood. However, the elders of the families DeSailly and Salix were well aware of the joining of these two families. After a couple years of marriage, the Salix family figured that the Muggle family's job was done and proceeded to murder Marshall's parents and siblings.
After the murders, Marshall started to look into his family history. He discovered that he was in fact a pureblood. While this was going on, Hannah's brother Gabriel was conceived. He was born in 1985. Hannah's parents were now paranoid and broke off all contact with wizards. Abby stayed home with Gabe, and then with Hannah. When Hannah was a few years old, Abby went back to work at St. Mungos. Hannah and Gabe grew up in a fairly protective environment. They didn't really play with other children, save a few. One of her friends from her childhood is Nathaniel Woods. Abigail was friends with Nathaniel's mum so they were together rather often. So it was Hannah, Gabe and Nathaniel. Hannah had major separation anxiety when Gabe went off to Hogwarts. But, 2 years later, she joined him.
Relationships
Anora Bertrade is another of Hannah's best friends. They get crazy and silly together and tend to wear enormous hats at parties. Hannah adores Anora and is very judgemental of who she dates. When they were in third year, Hannah made a boy cry because he was trying to talk to Anora when he wasn't worthy. They have each other's backs and are both excellent at Charms.
Bri Richards is Hannah's solace. Since Hannah tends to get a little crazy and worked up over things, Bri is always there to talk her down and show up with the logical side of things. Also, Bri is excellent at Potions and is mostly easy going and calm. Her relationship with Tim Ashford has made Hannah happy because Bri is happy with him.
Tobias Kinsella is one of Hannah's good friends. He's always up for some pranking or mischief.
Derek Bly is The Boyfriend. They have had extreme ups and extreme downs. Hannah tends to run away from him and not want to actually deal with feelings. She's done stupid things and surprisingly he's forgiven her. Derek's influence on Hannah has been nothing but good, as she tends to seek out the more unstable older students and tries to befriend them. This would normally result in her destruction but now that Derek is around, she tends to do that a lot less. Also, even when Hannah broke up with Derek, she realized how utterly miserable she was without him. Really, he's the one for her, no matter how crazy they get.
Lucas Longshore is Hannah's nemesis. She loathes him with a passion, and sometimes ends up making out with him. But mostly she hates him.

Hannah was born October 29th, 1989
It's the Scorpion which symbolizes Scorpios, and it's no accident. Much like the Scorpion would rather kill itself than be killed, those born under this Sign are the ones who are in ultimate control of their destiny. It is life on the Scorpion's terms, too, since these folks promote their agenda (they are quite the executives) and see to it that things go forward. Others may find this overbearing (it can be) and even self-destructive, but that's the beauty of the Scorpion: these folks have tremendous regenerative powers, much like the literal Scorpion can lose its tail and promptly grow a new one. Fearless Scorpions rarely lose, per se, they just keep on going, since they are stubborn and determined to succeed (this Scorpio trait is in keeping with the Fixed Quality assigned to this Sign). Scorpios work as hard as they do so they can someday sit back and feel satisfied with themselves. These folks are intense, passionate and filled with desire. They're also complex and secretive, so don't expect to get much out of them, lest they become suspicious and exit stage left. It's best not to bet against Scorpios, either, since these folks are surprisingly resourceful.
