It is located in the Delegación de la Vieja Ciudad, with entrances on Calle Santo Dominguito around Calle de Valladolid.
It is named for the city of Valladolid in Spain, capital of Castile and León.
It serves the Iglesia de San Miguel Arcángel, the Iglesia de San Antonio, the Museo Nacional de Arte de Mar de Cristal (La Huerta pavilion), and La Huerta.
