Shield: Per pale Or and azure, a cat sable pied argent and a lion regardant and coward of the first, both combatant, armed and langued gules. All within the ribbon of the order of Mar de Cristal, proper.

Crest: Mantled azure doubled Or, on a wreath of the colours a sun in splendour Or.

Motto: Feros ferio ("I am fierce with the fierce.")

They refer to the incident of the captain's cat at the discovery of La Luz.
