James was first public in London around 1704 and kept himself a high proile for about a century bfore leaving the city to travel for a few years. At that time he was considered mostly an obnoxious and sarcastic neonate, if over zealously polite in his position as London Cryer for around 50 years serving under the Invictus family of Alemianu. During this era, he was mostly a part of London's underworld, specialising in hedonist clubs and the corruption of happy businessmen and netting a small fortune himself in crooked back alley deals. Upon his return in 1823, he left most of the kindred society life behind to concentrate on his studies and explorations of the human nature and soul, starting the foundations for one or two spiritualist and occult groups in the city. During the end of the 19th century he was worked a lot in medicine and science, and was on the bottom ground as one of the sponsors of the Industrial Revolution, including the transatlantic cable connections, which he was more than happy to allow others to use as long as it did not affect the security of London and he was returned with a few choice morsels and advise on the specualtives market.

During the beginning of the 20th, he once more disappeared, nowhere to be found during the first two world wars and completely out of touch. Many thought he had passed on. He returned in 1949 with a childe in tow and started to introduce her around the London courts. He has never to anyone’s knowledge been a part of any covenant, or ever seemed to express a wish to until recently, when he negotiated some form of treaty with The Circle of the Crone and joined the Covenant. A true English gent on the surface, it is soon prevalent that he seems no more than a hedonistic throwback without a conscience, always eager for an argument, if a very gentlemanly one. His honour is however, a very sore point, and he does not appreciate it being questioned.
