Putney Bridge to Hammersmith Bridge

The patch is spilt into three blocks: The Thames, Bishops Park and Beverley Brook.
The Thames:
At low tide there is a substanial amount of inter-tidal zone which is at its widest around Crabtree Wharf. Lots of Gulls and Ducks along with starlings and Crows probe the mud while Cormorants stand wings out or bobbing up or down on the water.
The Putney bank starts of as slipways and as you approach Beverley Brook and the footbridge it turns greener with mature trees and shrubs lining the muddy path. On the Fulham side it is built up from Hammersmith Bridge to Craven Cottage but it does have some shrubs along the way.
Bishops Park:

The park is on the Fulham side and extends to Craven Corttage. It is about 12ha and a mixture of formal park/allotments/sports pitches/large concrete areas/Small set aside areas and buildings. There are alot of trees, native and exotic with large ares of shrub and mown grass. Part of the park, Moat gardens has a small wildlife area which is left alone and has many wild flowers. 12 speceis of butterfly were counted during the summer.
Beverly Brook:

The Brook is a tributary to the Thames but only a Small dock area is tidal. Behind the flood gates is a small pool that has a varied water level with mud exposed at most times. The Brook is lined by Mature trees and shrubs on one side with playing fields on the over. The path( if taken from the Thames) reaches two foot bridges over the brook ,between these two bridges is a small part of Lower Putney Heath, infrequently mown and bounded by trees and playing fields and at about 500m long and 300 wide it is the largest "wild" area on my patch.
