- Queen Mother Res: juvenile Pomarine Skua still present today. No access beyond the car park (per FJM). No sign after 10am, ad Y L Gull in roost (Bob Watts, Franko Maroevic, Steve Spooner).
- Clacket Lanes Services (anti-clockwise): Willow Tit in woods behind services north Side (Chris Wilkinson via FJM); also, Common Buzzard over.
- Rainham: 2 Water Pipits by the Stone Barges, also 18 Black-tailed Godwits, 19 Lapwing and 1 Common Snipe roosting on the barges; nearby, 1 Jack Snipe flushed - no SE Owls over marshes at dawn (J. Murray); Dartford Warbler present at Rainham Marshes RSPB - directions from visitor centre (Birdguides).

- River Pool,Bellingham: 1 Little Egret, 1 Woodcock (Paul Moss, per Dave de Silva)
- Queen Mother Res: juvenile Pomarine Skua still present this afternoon. No access beyond the car park (Birdguides).
- Tate Modern: At 1335hrs there was what looked like a large, all-whitish falcon perched high on the tower, where the Peregrines often sit. I only had a naked-eye view, though, so couldn't be sure. If anyone's passing with bins it may be worth a look! It was on the eastern face of the tower. Could be the Gyr-type escape that's been reported occasionally round London recently (Rob Innes).
- Walthamstow Filter Beds: 92 Lesser Black-backed, one Greater Black-backed and 56 Herring Gulls, plus one adult Yellow-legged Gull showing head streaking like the ad LBBGs (but in every other respect a typical michahellis). On Walthamstow No 5 Rservoir, oppopsite the filter beds: 77 Shoveler (Dominic Mitchell).
- East India Dock NR: 11 Shelduck, 151 Teal, 50 Mallard, 7 Tufties, 4 Little Grebe, GBB Gull, LBB Gull, 4 Common Gull, 120+ BH Gull, 2 Pied and 1 Grey Wag (Richard Harrison).
- Alexandra Park (12:00-13:00hrs): 6 Gadwall, trilling Little Grebe, 2 Water Rail (Conservation Pond), Green Woodpecker, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker, sub-singing Blackbird, singing Song Thrush, 7 Goldfinch (Des McKenzie).
- Rainham Marshes: 3 Sparrowhawk, 8 Kestrel, m Peregrine, Water Rail, Grey Plover, 200 Dunlin, 35 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Short-eared Owl, Kingfisher, Green Woodpecker, 21 Skylark, 6 Stonechat, pr Bearded Tit, 20 Greenfinch, 70 Goldfinch, 15 Linnet (ELBF).

- Town Park, Enfield: 1 Skylark, flew over calling; 1 singing male Goldcrest (Robert Callf).
- Broomfield Park, Palmers Green N13: 1 adult-winter Mediterranean Gull, on boating pond until 14.30 hrs., at least; 1 female Pochard; 2 Pied Wagtail (Robert Callf).
- Trent Park: 2 Stonechat, 18 Goldfinch, 3 Tufted Duck, Pochard, Goldcrest (Pete Lowman).
- Dagenham Chase LNR: 30 Linnet, 30 Pochard, 1m Ruddy Duck, 5 Goldcrest, 3 Wigeon, 1-2 singing Song Thrush late pm, also 1 Little Owl calling very loudly for over a minute to another which responded briefly.(Vince Halley-Frame).

- Walthamstow Reservoirs: Slavonian Grebe at southern end of West Warwick still, plus 2w Med Gull, drake Pintail, 2F Goldeneye, 135 Shoveler, 2 Egyptian Geese, 3 Goldcrests, GbbGull, 3 Shelducks, 300+ Woodpigeons coming in to roost (David Callahan); also first-winter Great Black-backed Gull, 21 Herring Gulls and 11 Lesser Black-backed Gulls at the filter beds opposite No 5 reservoir (Dominic Mitchell).
- Rainham Marshes RSPB: Great Northern Diver west along the Thames at 07:50hrs and Short-eared Owl over the silt lagoons (per Howard Vaughan); also six Jack Snipe, five Common Snipe and two Kingfishers on Wennington Marsh (per Ruth Barnes).
- Brent Reservoir: 1 Little Egret, 12 Snipe, 4 Water Rail, 1 Jackdaw (Roy Beddard).

- London Wetland Centre: 1 Yellow-Browed Warbler seen in tit flock between Dulverton and WWF Hide @ 0950, 1 Bittern in reeds southern edge of Main Lake seen from Headley Hide, 2 Water Pipit Main Lake, 150 Fieldfare dropped in to site then off W (LWC wardens).
- Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens: 2 Egyptian Goose, 4 Gadwall, colour-ringed adult-winter Mediterranean Gull at Round Pond (am at least), 2w type Great Black-backed Gull (Serpentine), Tawny Owl, 2 Green Woodpecker, m Blackcap (Hudson Memorial), 3 Goldcrest, 2-3 Coal Tit (Des McKenzie, Fiona Barclay, Nick Tanner, Paul Bruty).

- London Wetland Centre WWT: Mealy Redpoll still; 56 Brambling west (Birdguides) also Common Snipe, 5 Fieldfare north (4 of which dropped in before continuing north), 2+ Siskin (West Bank/ Castelnau), 50-60 Goldfinch, Water Pipit (island opposite Dulverton Hide). Duck numbers down following 'fireworks weekend' but seems to have affected some species more than others: 119 Shoveler, 80 Gadwall, 126 Teal, 63 Wigeon, 14 Pochard, 61 Lapwing (Matthew Palmer).

- Hackney Marshes: mid-a.m. No sign of the Firecrests. 3 Little Grebes and a Kingfisher on the R. Lea by the Pitch & Putt course. A (possibly Large) White Butterfly from the house at midday, don't recall seeing one of those in November before (Paul Whiteman)

- Dagenham Chase LNR: Short-eared Owl flushed from long grass by a Golden Retriever at 3.25pm,(there's a good dog!), then mobbed by Crows before circling high South. 2 Little Egrets on the Slack then flew up the Rom valley towards the YMCA, pair of Stonechat, Cetti's Warbler heard by Hooks Hall Pond( Vince Halley-Frame ).
