Thurston Road (Springfield)

- The Davis School was a one-room of schoolhouse built in the 1850's at the east end of Thurston. Thurston Elementary was located on the northeast corner of 66th Street and Thurston Road and it operated until the 1930's.
- A general store owned by T.L. Rees was located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Thurston Road and 66th Street in the 1890s.
