Grapes are grown successfully in this county, despite the many assertions to the contrary. Rev. D.E. Loveridge has 6 acres of vineyard near Springfield, that produce every year, possibly last year accepted, very choice Concords, Brightons, Lindleys, Niagara, and many other American varieties...
