Built in [[1948]] by the [[Springfield High School|Springfield High]] graduating class, this rock sits in a clearing at the top of [[Willamette Heights]]. The triangle with three S's on it originally had a light on top. It was last repainted in [[1998]], when the high school celebrated its 100th anniversary.
