Find the Duke and confront him

You find the Duke still sipping at wine in the great hall. You level your accusations, and though at first he seemes to simply dismiss the idea, after a while of badgering, he finally relents.

After his confession, he gets to his feet and draws his sword. Drunk, he stumbles toward you. You draw your own weapon and run him through.

There is a quick cover-up, and Agadora is none the wiser, even as she assumes his duties.

Your father thinks it best you lay low in the castle for awhile, but congratulates you on doing the kingdom a great duty.
