Access Via car from the A10 heading south following the east split into The Roundway and car in Church Lane and head in through the churchyard. Via bus you can take the 123 or 243 from Wood Green or Seven Sisters tube and get off outside Bruce Castle Park. Walk in from the east end from White Hart Lane train station.

Description Bruce Castle Park is worth check with the triangle of Silver Birch trees at the south holding most of the migrants. Head over the road into the Cemetery and check every tree and bush available. Hot spots include the churchyard area. The Lime trees along the main pathway and Cherry Trees north of the Pond, but anywhere is good. Expect Pied Flycatchers and Wood Warbler only on lucky days. Daily coverage used to produce both of these but the numbers would vary from year to year. With Pied Flycatcher from one to up to dozen a autumn. About 110 birds were recorded during the 1980s to 1990s. Very good for Woodpeckers with Lesser Spotted breeding but none recently.
