Or, more correctly, the University of Tokyo, Toudai for short. A lot of brilliant people have graduated from this school, and it is constantly being referenced in various anime/manga. Shirogane Ryou originally enrolled there in 2008 to fulfill his dream; however, this was retconned into him actually lying about it and not having entered at all.
