Libby, the robot baby, first made its appearance when Ichigo was assigned to take care of "her" for her Child Care class project. Despite being a robot, it has been theorized by the girls that Libby in fact has "feelings", considering she shows affection towards some people (namely Ryou) and dislike towards others (namely Ichigo). Libby also has a terrible habit of starting to cry at the worst (or maybe best) possible moments.

Though Ichigo was assigned to only take care of Libby for a week in September 2007, she's been told that she'd be taking care of her again sometime in January 2008 and May 2008, in order to test out how her motherly skills improve as the school year goes by.
