Thompson Colton is airlifted deep into Soviet Russia to steal a certain "Ma ek guphiin" code device from a Russian base. Alerting the authorities, he defeats their leader, Dingaan Ngadla during the failed attack. 002 & 003
"The Langley Deception" United States efforts are being countered eerily conveniently and consistently. The answer is that a member of the CIA is selling military secrets. 0011 is sent to root out the traitor, whoever he is. Spending several days in Langley, his visit seems to naught. Nonetheless, Agent John André, through a feint, is revealed as the backstabber. Colton stops André in his tracks. 004 & 005
"A Murder in the Middle of Summer" From 21 to 24 June, seven people have died from knife attacks in the isolated village of Knaptoft. Thompson Colton arrives to find two more murdered. Researching into the matter, he unveils the unstable council member Jacob Stapleton as a prime suspect. Two decoys fail, and it is only 0011 masquerading as the final intended victim that proves Stapleton's guilt, and Colton subsequently arrests Jacob. 006, 007 & 008
"You Too" U-2 planes flying high over Poland are mysteriously disappearing, without any signs of attack or anti-aircraft fire. Days later, the same U-2s are landing in Canada, their pilots wholly intact...physically. Suspicion of brainwashing soon arises, and Thompson Colton is sent to interrogate them. He soon unearths a large conspiracy, and must hunt down the culprits. 0011 manages to track and destroy their local base, but knows he can't touch the real commanders... 009 & 010
"One Missile: Missing" There is a serious concern among some of the top British Army brass: one of their UB-109 "Rapier" cruise missiles has been stolen. Thompson Colton attempts to track the missile, and the path takes him thorough many a country and through three continents, leading him - to all places - Nambutu again, where he learns that it will be used in another attempt at revolution. Despite symphatizing with the rebels, he stops a second Nambutan rebellion. 011 & 012
"Man in the steel mask" Sinister threat messages with chillingly realistic basis are sent to governtment agencies all over the world, written in the language of another country and signed "steel mask". Agent 011 embarks on a mission to uncover this conspiracy to turn nations against one another, and beneath it a motive more dangerous than ever 013 & 014
"The Wall" Thompson Colton is sent to help an East German radiology scientist cross the Iron Curtain into West Germany, where he will find escape from the Soviet Union. "Ten to Go" A mysterious figure declares war on the United Kingdom, hoping to foil plans for a nationwide anti-missile sytem. Dressing in a Pickelhaube, armour and packs of ammunition dressing his craven uniform, he kills three before Colton is sent to stop him.
