The 60 Lives and 61 deaths of Mamareeko S. Bench
From Intelligent Shit Music
The first attempt by Mamareeko S. Bench to follow up Mamareeko S. Bench Vs. The Combined Forces of the Eastern Bloc, described as the 'first ISM opera'.
Mamareeko has never elaborated what the opera was about, but several songs found their way onto Thus Spake Mamareeko. The 61st Life, an instrumental, and Cutbacks on Mudflaps, both confirmed by Mamareeko as taken from the opera, showed a far more organic sounding Mamareeko, with pianos, percussion and vocals filling most of the songs.
Following Thus Spake Mamareeko's release Mamareeko said that he was still interested in finishing the opera, but that it was quite a challenge. Other songs recently mentioned that feature are I'm Leopold Draper, Seven Women in Hot Pants Is Not A Career and Molotov Cock, which also appeared on the unreleased EP 0 (EP) Forgive Me, I'm Ovulating EP release.
Recently more tracks have surfaced from the sessions, including parts of Seven Women in Hot Pants Is Not A Career in Dark, Moist, as well as Molotov Cock in it's entirety (albeit minus the vocal part).
