  • Australia-Netherlands Research Collaboration Overseas Travel Fellowships for PhD Students. Closing date for 2009 round: Friday 15 May. For individuals currently enrolled in a PhD program at an Australian university and researching Southeast Asia, to conduct specific, defined tasks in the Netherlands related to their PhD - fieldwork, consulting an archive or library, engaging in language or disciplinary study, or consulting academic experts. Funds cover economy class return travel between Australia and the Netherlands plus a living allowance for a period of between one and six months.   • The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Sydney is encouraging Australian students and academics to attend the International Conference and Summer School on Indonesian Studies (ICSSIS). To support Australian representation at the Conference, we are offering funding for one participant to attend. This will cover return airfare, visitor visa and conference registration fee. To be eligible for Consulate funding you must be a resident of New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia and selection will be at the discretion of the Consulate.
