Michele Bachmann (April 6, 1956) is a State Senator for the U.S. state of Minnesota, representing the Stillwater area. She is a member of the Republican Party. Her political views are considered to be ultraconservative. Recently removed from state Senate leadership positions, she is considered an extremist within her own party.
