The Alliance Defense Fund ("ADF") is a U.S. based, Christian, conservative, non-profit organization with the stated goal of using the United States legal system in "defending the right to hear and speak the Truth through strategy, training, funding, and direct litigation." Though their mission statement indicates that their focus is freedom of expression, the group also actively supports efforts to dictate national law based on Christian belief, such as the ongoing effort to prevent same-sex marriage.Quotes
