A. The everglades are disappering because of diversion of water. To much water is witheld during the wet season for human use. To muck is added during the dry season.

B. Pinelands, Hammock, marl, prairie, cypress, slough, mangroves, coastal prairie, marine/estuary.

C. I think that the American Aligator is the largest preditor. It lives near water and eats a wide variety of foods from insects to deer and other aligators.

D. It is a plant eateing mamal that lives in the water. Thier problems include being hit by watercraft or being crushed or drouned by canal locks and flood control systems.

E. Fire is not bad it is a useful tool to get rid of decaying plant materil. It also keep a high level of diversity in the everglades.

F. The ice age helped shape the everglades by the riseing and falling of the sea levels by hundreads of feet at a time.
