I think that it is a possible solution if the community is willing to adjust their standard of living in order to make it work. In some cases it may be highly difficult to get the community to cooperate but in others it may be simpler.

What are the issues and problems? Smart Growth Vs Sprawl Is the issue. Sprawl happens when a community fails to plan and gives no thought to the character it wishes to build. Where smart growth offers commuters more transportation choices. Also pollution is another problem with sprawl, it negatively impacts the whole environment.

If this where happening in your community, could you think of any positive or constructive resolutions? I don't honestly have an opinion on the matter but on the surface it seems like Smart Growth would be the best resolution. Public Transportations like buses are a huge carpool thats cheaper and saves people money on the high gas prices.

What are the positives of the plan? The positives of the plan are helping your natural resourcesare by protecting endangered animals and plants in the area.

What are the problems with the plan? The problem with the plan is that the Natural Areas Program cannot protect urban nature without accommodating all forms of recreation enjoyed by the public without restriction. If the area is exposed to humans, there is a chance the area will not be perserved. Also off-[[leash dogs and feral cats can kill these endangered species.

Do you think this is a possible solution? Why or why not? I think that it is a possible solution if the community is willing to adjust their standard of living in order to make it work. In some cases it may be highly difficult to get the community to cooperate but in others it may be simpler.
