Wetlands are marshes, swamps, bogs, and similar areas found between dry and water along edges of streams, rivers, lakes, ponds, and coastlines.  Wetlands are either Estuarine-salt water wetlands, or Palastrine-freshwater wetlands.  Emerget which contains grasses, sedges, and other non-woody plants; Shrub-low to medium height woody plants; Forested-largely wooded swanmps and bottom land hardwood forests.
