There is information regarding the EPA's approach towards screening and testing chemicals for potential endocrine disruptors.

Ecotoxicology http://www.epa.gov/ecotox/ The Ecotox site provides information about chemical toxicity information for terrestrial and aquatic life. Peer review information literature is the primary source of information for this site.

Human and Ecological risk assessment is a journal devoted to providing framework for professional regarding developing in both human and ecological risk assessments.

Red tides http://www.whoi.edu/redtide/ Red tide is a common name for a phytoplankton species. The species are usually not harmful, but can be harmful when densiities reach a amount where it discolors the water.
