[19:14] <NiteBrite> Ahem. Last time, we got across the bridge. It was an eventful bridge crossing. Lots of bridge like things happened and it was super zany.
[19:15] <NiteBrite> Then we got to the river where Steven Magnet was waiting around. He told our little ponies about the previous elements of harmony. This lead to a discussion of why he almost forgot fluttershy...
[19:16] <NiteBrite> Who he only remembered due to her having had raised a young manticore. The manticore had a 'friendly son'. Steven was confused that the ponies thought it was out to eat them.
[19:17] <NiteBrite> So he called for little manny, so he could sort out the misunderstanding.
[19:17] <NiteBrite> Manny the manicore brings solidgear's leg back, and also his many hungry friends.
[19:18] <NiteBrite> Unfortunately his friends have never seen ponies before, so they aren't nearly as 'friendly' as he is. @_@
[19:19] <NiteBrite> And so, our ponies find themselves being surrounded by a seemingly impossible to escape death trap.
[19:19] <NiteBrite> But! as they prepare for the worst, their necklaces are starting to light up one by one.
[19:20] <MI|Zombie> (also NB figured out his element)
[19:20] <NiteBrite> yes, that he did.
[19:20] <NiteBrite> And that is where we left off last time.
[19:20] <NiteBrite> Questions? Ready?

[19:24] * Whiteout has planted himself solidly between the manticores and the others, and is trying to figure a way out for them.
[19:25] * MarissaInaba is also calmly attempting to formulate an escape plan.
[19:28] <NiteBrite> *Laughs at the situation.*
[19:28] * MarissaInaba is coming up with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND IS BEGINNING TO PANIC but she's good at staying levelheaded.
[19:29] <nod> ya know what. we have been running from every thing we see. i give up im tired of running. im standing and fighting
[19:29] <LotsOfManticores> Nar: The perilous pony predicament persuades precious power pendants to glow
[19:29] * nod 's necklace glows
[19:29] <MarissaInaba> You're standing and fighting, like, twenty large and angry manticores. That's a nice sentiment but it's also gonna get you killed.
[19:30] <NiteBrite> Maybe we can blast them with our neckalaces!
[19:30] * Whiteout grins. "I like your spirt, Nod, but I don't think fightin's gonna get us all outta here in one piece. Bite sized pieces, maybe, but not pony-sized."

[19:30] <MarissaInaba> Only a lot more painful for us.
[19:31] * nod notices glow and smiles "im starting to think its worth a shot"
[19:31] <NiteBrite> Powers GO! *necklace does nothing!*

[19:31] <MarissaInaba> No it isn't! Who cares if your necklace glows if it gets you killed!
[19:32] <Sweetness> We're pretty surrounded.
[19:32] <Sweetness> I don't see a way out of this one.
[19:33] <Sweetness> *Is not glowly yet with the tiara*
[19:33] <MarissaInaba> There's gotta be something. Hey, Dragon Dude, youre a dragon, right? Think you could help us not die?

[19:34] * Whiteout isn't paying much attention to the way he's glowing, as he's stuck on how to get the rest out safely.

[19:38] <MarissaInaba> You are a horrible person. I have no idea how you ended up friends with the original Elements of Harmony if you aren't willing to help people who are about to be eaten by manticores.
[19:38] <Sweetness> SM: That's easy for you all to say. you don't have to live in this forest. Seriously, live here and tell me you want to fight with a horde of monsters on a daily basis.
[19:39] <Sweetness> SM: Sorry, but thems the breaks.
[19:39] <Sweetness> I- I just wish we had more time.
[19:40] <MarissaInaba> *somewhat coldly* That's no excuse. You're, what, twenty feet long? I highly doubt there's all that much that can really pose a threat to you.

[19:53] * SolidGear looks at the manticores landing around the group, "Uhm....well gee, what a welcoming party...?"
[19:53] <MarissaInaba> Right, you lot. Which one of you is Manny? *oh please let them be in the mood to talk this out*
[19:54] <NiteBrite> I said, Nb repeast, some ultimate power! The glowing! It does nothing. Even when we are all powered up.

[19:54] * Whiteout eyes the Manticores, doing his best to not show his nerves. "Talking would be nice, right 'bout now..."

[19:55] <Sweetness> So this is how it all ends. I never even figured out why my necklace was a differenty tiara.

[19:55] * SolidGear looks to Sweetness, "You're kinda...our leader, Sweetness....we can't do much without you."

[19:58] * SolidGear stares at Marissa's insanely good luck at finding Manny, "Uhm...sure, for now. I'll still need it back eventually so I can make him a better chew toy."

[20:00] * Whiteout hovers himself up to eye level with the incoming Manticores, and glares at them. "My friends aren't for eating!"

[20:03] <Sweetness> SM: Oh, wow. How is that possible? *trots over to Manny*
[20:04] * MarissaInaba is starting to get a little frazzled; she's having trouble keeping her head cool.

[20:05] <nod> *nod uses tackle on the manticore attacking NB*
[20:05] <MarissaInaba> Now, Sweetness. You're the only one whose neckla... TIARA isn't glowing yet.

[20:06] <MarissaInaba> *turns to the others* Don't attack them, darnit! If we can befriend one, we can befriend the others, but not if we hurt them! *turns back to sweetness*

[20:06] <MarissaInaba> NOW. I think our best bet is to figure out your element and see if we can't use our powers to get out of here somehow.

[20:07] * Whiteout gives Marissa a look. "I like the idea, but not enough to find out if Nite can handle poison!" *joins nod in Manticore wrestling*

[20:08] <MarissaInaba> ... that's not very helpful. DODGING WORKS TOO, YOU KNOW.

[20:10] <MarissaInaba> Oh my god you're kidding. Sweetness, I think I know what your element is, and it's stupid.
[20:11] * SolidGear follows with Marissa in getting closer, "Magic...?" stares at Sweetness now glowing, "Awesome! You got it!"

[20:11] <Sweetness> 9_6 Do I want a stupid element?
[20:11] <Sweetness> What is it?
[20:11] * SolidGear glares at Marissa, "It's not a stupid element!"
[20:11] <nod> does it matter *continues doging*
[20:11] <MarissaInaba> It's Magic. I don't know how that's related to what makes you a good friend or how exactly you can use it, not being a unicorn. But I'm sure it'll be helpful at least.

[20:12] <LotsOfManticores> Manticores: Becoming more numerous.
[20:12] <SolidGear> "It is a good and awesome element. Sweetness has magic all right, the magic of being a great friend!"

[20:13] <Sweetness> *starts to glow more!* *Eyes glow*
[20:13] <MarissaInaba> Now. I think this means that you're the one who's going to have to d... *she misses a beat at what SG says but manages to pick it right back up* Have to do whatever it is we're gonna need to do.

[20:14] * SolidGear nods, watching Sweetness charging up, rather impressed as she whispers aside to Marissa, "Mock it all you want, but this is what's saving us..."
[20:14] <Sweetness> Narrator: As sweetie powers up, the glow from the other's elements flow out of their necklace towards her tiara.
[20:14] <Sweetness> Narrator: *A flash of light!* Sweetie has vanished

[20:15] <nod> i hope that was supose to happen

[20:17] * Whiteout is officially panicing now.
[20:17] <nod> *shacking ground makes nod fall down*
[20:17] * SolidGear also fell over, due to still having her one leg missing.
[20:17] <CaptainPony> *bursts out of the ground and flies high into the air*

[20:27] <CaptainPony> Rainbow: It seems to respond to her will to dissipate. With a prism like effect, the rainbow fragments into seven colors.
[20:27] * SolidGear stares at this, rather amazed, "Whoa...neat."
[20:28] <CaptainPony> *Red light hits the Angry manticore*
[20:28] <CaptainPony> *Manny is missed*
[20:28] <CaptainPony> Nar: The glow is rather blinding.
[20:28] <MarissaInaba> *shields her eyes*

[20:29] <nod> nod is down face in ground
[20:29] <LotsOfManticores> Others: Flee this place
[20:29] * SolidGear somehow also has shades on.
[20:29] <Whiteout> *ze goggles, they do nothing!*
[20:29] <CaptainPony> Nar: When the light clears, Manny is standing there. And with him is the other manticore.
[20:30] <SolidGear> Dusty: *tries to use her goggles...too bad they do nothing*
[20:30] <CaptainPony> Nar: Only the other manticore is now very very friendly

[20:32] * SolidGear shrugs, "Whatever you did, Sweetness. It has helped a ton and now we have two helpful manticores on our side."

[20:33] <Manticore> Narrator: In the shadow, a second manticore, identical to the new nice one lurks ominously.
[20:33] * SolidGear thinks a bit on this, "Hey, Marissa...do you think I can get my leg back so I can make them a special thank-you gift?"
[20:34] <MarissaInaba> Oh. Okay! I'm sure they won't mind if we just use a stick for now..?
[20:34] <Sweetness> Its weird, though that it would make him nice. I've only ever heard of Caotain ponies powers being used for banishment, not making people nice.
[20:35] <Manticore> Manny: Doesn't mind using a stick
[20:35] * Whiteout grins at Sweetness. "It's you, Sweetie. I can't see you banishing someone to the moon."
[20:35] <Manticore> Manny's pal: Also playful
[20:35] * MarissaInaba grabs a stick and proceeds to play with the Manticores!
[20:35] <Sweetness> I really had a dtrong urge to do it though. It was so weird.

[20:36] * SolidGear reattaches her leg, with a bit of difficulty as it's just a little hard with only one hoof.
[20:36] <Manticore> Manny's new friend: Chases the stick into the shadowy woods where its doppleganger is waiting.
[20:37] * MarissaInaba apparently really likes having to big, intimidating puppies that like her a whole lot.
[20:37] <MarissaInaba> I hope he knows how fetch works.
[20:38] <Manticore> DoppleManticore: knocks out its friendly self. *grabs the stick*
[20:38] <ManticoresAnger> *returns with glowy red eyes*
[20:38] <MarissaInaba> ...
[20:38] <Whiteout> "Whew. Well, I'm glad that ended well." *turns his attention to getting the dust out of his flight feathers*

[20:39] <MarissaInaba> Oh, good he returned with the stick... and his eyes are glowing?
[20:39] <MarissaInaba> Do Manticore eyes do that normally?

[20:39] * SolidGear stares at this, "Not that I recall...what in the hay is goin' on?"
[20:39] <Sweetness> SM: I've never seen one glow like that.
[20:40] <Sweetness> Steven Magnet: *still here*
[20:40] <MarissaInaba> You don't get to contribute.
[20:40] <ManticoresAnger> *seems a little odd. Almost tense.* *appears to force a false smile* Walks calmly over to MI and drops the stick
[20:40] <MarissaInaba> Mister "oh I'm sure you can handle the small army of angry manticores on your own"

[20:41] * MarissaInaba picks the stick up. "Good boy. That's how fetch works." She throws the stick again, somewhat apprehensively.
[20:41] <Whiteout> *from under his wing* "Ta be fair, he was right, Marissa."
[20:41] <nod> you ok mr manticore
[20:41] <FriendlyManticore2> *wakes up* Returns looking a bit hurt :(

[20:42] * SolidGear looks at the manticore returning, "Uhm....what in tarnation?!"
[20:42] * SolidGear rushes over to help the obviously hurt Manticore.
[20:42] <nod> *dubble take*
[20:42] <ManticoresAnger> *does not chase the stick* ROOOOAR *Swats at Marissa*
[20:43] * Whiteout looks up at the roar. "What the hay!"
[20:43] <MarissaInaba> Agh! *totally doesn't see this coming and does not have time to react at all*
[20:43] <FriendlyManticore2> MANNY: O_O@!!!

[20:43] <ManticoresAnger> NAR: Marissa is hit into a tree.

[20:44] * SolidGear stops, turning to look at this, "Oh great...it's from the rainbow earlier..." she groans.
[20:44] <NiteBrite> 0_0 that is one angry Manticore!
[20:44] * MarissaInaba hits the tree hard; there is a loud cracking sound and she is knocked out.
[20:45] <ManticoresAnger> *attacks his double*
[20:45] <FriendlyManticore2> *attacks first*
[20:45] * SolidGear rushes over to Marissa, eyes wide as she examines the unconscious pony, "Oh please don't be dead...."
[20:45] * MarissaInaba isn't dead, but she's prolly broken a few ribs.
[20:45] <FriendlyManticore2> Narrator: The two of them are locked in perfectly symmetrical violence
[20:46] <FriendlyManticore2> Manny: T_T Doesn't know what's going on
[20:46] * nod charges but not at the manticore but after MI "how is she"
[20:46] <FriendlyManticore2> Manny: *nudges marissa* *wants her to be okay*
[20:47] <MarissaInaba> (Friendly Manticore 2's shirt tears, and monologues at the angry one about how a human with only anger is as ineffectual as one without any anger)
[20:47] <SolidGear> "I have no clue....her body looks a little collapsed, so I think a few broken bones?"
[20:47] * Whiteout is off in a cloud of dust, winging up to get diving room. "Nobody hurts my friends. -Noobody-."
[20:47] <nod> manny we can take care of her we need you to help you frend , please understand please
