The Excelsior-class Super Dreadnaught is a class of warship owned and operated by the Galactic Union Navy. The first ship of the class, GUSS Excelsior, is currently the flagship of the Galactic Union Third Sector Fleet.
Excelsior-class Super Dreadnaughts are 13 miles, or 20.8 kilometers long. They have a crew capacity of 289,000 enlisted and NCO personnel, and 1,000 commissioned officers. Excelsior-class ships also carry 22,473 enlisted and NCO Galactic Union Marines, and 7527 Marine officers.
Their armaments include 600 turbolasers, 600 heavy laser cannons, 600 ion cannons, and 200 thermonuclear missiles.
