Likal Alopex
From Egs Mayhem
Name: Likal Alopex
Status: Main cast
Species: Greater Seyunolu (10% Uryoum, 40% Human, 50% various canine and lupine species)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Height:
- Human: 5'2"
- Hybrid: 3'10"
- Animal: 1'7" at the shoulders
Build: Slightly athletic (kinda like a track runner)
Hair/Fur: Gray (body fur is a lighter shade than his hair)
Eyes: Brown
Other Appearance Notes:
- Most of his clothing has excess buttons or zippers so that they can be adjusted to fit various sizes or be quickly removed. By the same token, he usually wears sandals or just goes barefoot.
- He does not have the telltale antenna of a Greater Chimera.
- He prefers his hybrid form.
- His fur is pretty thick, so he doesn't always wear a shirt when in his hybrid form. He does wear pants or shorts to stay decent, though. (If it comes up, the "Ha ha, fur!" rule applies.)
Abilities: Shapeshifting. As with all chimera, he is limited to the forms that he born with, as well as any other forms he has assumed (as of yet, none). His animal form is not from a single animal, but is a canine hybrid with gray fur, about the size and appearance of a small wolf. While he is unable to assume legion forms, he is trying (with little success) to train himself to do partial transformations. He is also fully capable of human speech in his non-human forms, although he has a strong "accent" (for lack of a better word) when shifted into anything with a drastically different mouth.
Hobbies and other skills: He's a pretty quick runner and enjoys most track and field sports. And digging. While his hybrid form is fully upright, he can drop to all fours to speed up a little, and will usually change to his fully animal form while running if he really needs the speed. Has an extremely sharp sense of smell, as well as good hearing, in any form, although his senses get better the closer he is to his animal form. He seems to know how to fight in all forms, but he doesn't enjoy it.
Personality: Friendly, likes groups of friends. Not leadership material, he prefers to follow.
History: Likal was the results of another one of those secret labs making super soldiers/spies/assassins; Likal was meant as a scout for wilderness areas. Fortunately, either because of a stroke of conscience or just because it was taking too long, the project was scrapped, and most of the children (Likal was about five at the time) were adopted out. Although he had some aggression issues leftover from his pseudo-military training, he quickly got that out of his system being picked on as the "dog-boy" at his first school. His family tried moving a few times, but asking him not to shift was asking him to deny his nature, and he would always eventually get caught, which would occasionally lead to them getting run out of town. When his parents heard about Emerald Hills, they immediately started to arrange getting him into Sapphire Gardens.
