“Yes, I guess we should go. I can’t let them wait forever.”
So you and Olar are on the way back home. You are walking close together, occasionally holding hands, laying lour hands on each other shoulders or hips. You two knew each other since forever and were always good friends. That makes your coming departure not exactly easier, but you will use the time you still have.
You’ve been wandering through the woods for some time when you finally see the clearing with your village. Village might be big word for your settlement. At least it is for human standards. It consists mostly of dens for the females and their children and a lot of tents for the grown up males. You are proud to have your own tent since last autumn. And don’t forget the great storing in the middle at the great square (which is actually more round or oval). Even from far you can tell that today is something special. There is some bustle on the square and some big fires are already burning, although it’s just dusking. An even more unusual, you can see, more like smell, humans walking around the village and taking care of their carriages. The merchants, surely. No one else comes here without the traders and the miners which work in the “Forest Mine”. The mine lies deep in wolfir territory, but they never learned mining, so the humans may use it against a small toll.
As you finally reach the settlement, you let your eyes wander and think what to do next. You could...
