‘Mr.Cooper .. I mean ROB ! I think he is in the kitchen sir’ you yell
He comes running down the stairs as fast as he can goes right passed you towards the kitchen
‘ I’ll check! just you stay there ! ‘ he Exclaims
He dashes down the hall opens the kitchen door just a little and closes in again. Turning back around and talking now in a strangely louder tone as if he wanted someone in the kitchen to hear him he says
‘ sorry jake , but Kevin isn’t home ‘
‘But ..I ..I’
‘ you must be hearing things jake , now you really must get going now I have to get back to the office’ he explains as he walks you out the front door and closes it behind you with a quick ‘bye’
You stand on the front porch confused about what just happened . Just then your phone rings in your pocket it’s a call from Stefano you boss from your part time job at the pizza place in town.
