You pull away at the last instant, afraid of making Sarah angry. She is beautiful but you only met her today. She sighs in disappointment at the sight of you moving back (you should have done it). You wave goodbye and walk down towards the elevator, leaving her both sad and mildly ticked. She wanted a kiss but never got it. When you walk onto the street, you feel awful. You wanted it, she wanted it, but you were too chicken to do it. You decide to walk slowly back to your apartment, wondering if you will see Sarah again.
The next day, you arrive at Harvey's a little bit past 7:20 but are stopped early. A fireman is holding you back but you can see the damage. The entire store was engulfed in flames and five firetrucks were doing their best to stop it. You now lost your girl and your job. Life is going to be really hard from here on out.
