You meet your mentor at a table. Your fellow district 7 tribute had the same idea. He introduces himself and begins giving you both some advice. "Make sure that people think that you're meek. Many people try to appear bold, but people have to stand up to bold. But the meek go unnoticed until they can show their true colors. Lay low. Don't be arrogant. Do anything to extend your longevity. If you are still alive, then you haven't been eliminated. Also, don't risk everything on a special weapon or tool. Every year half of the kids get killed ten minutes in because they want the items in the cornucopia. If you flee right away, then you'll outlive many of the contestants without trying. Flee, find some water, and don't make a fire." It's dinnertime, and afterwards you go to bed. The next morning you get off of the train.
