Sorry, I'm still very new at this; I'm not even sure how to use this discussion page at all. I have been experimenting on the messier pages first to get a feel for it and this well written and thought out story actually threw me off (lol) --Hellspawn

Trying to turn a messy story into something worthwhile can be both challenging and frustrating. It's really up to you whether you feel it's worth trying.

There is a trick to checking the recent changes in a specific story. Go to that story's category page by clicking the title at the bottom of the page, where it appears after the word Category. Then go to the toolbox over on the left and click Related Changes. You'll get a listing of changes only to pages in that one story. --Platypus 02:59, 8 April 2016 (UTC)

If you want to remove a page you set up, blank the page. It will show up in the recent changes log as "blanked the page", and Platypus normally deletes these blanked pages to free them up for future use if needed. But, since they are layered pages, not sure it matters as much. --Dirty Me 02:10, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

Umm, wondering if I may suggest...I notice lots of blanking. I think you probably will want to give more thought to the pages so you do not need to blank so often. I am worried that at some point Platypus will get tired of having to delete so many pages. You can always create a planning page or something, so you can think about your paths a little better before writing them. It just seems right now like there is no thought at all, since so many are being blanked. Heh, it's fine. I'm kinda glad you've done so much to be honest, because when I get round to adding stuff I can do it a little better, since I'm still a little fuzzy on adding things other than base text. At any rate, thank you for touching them up, I appreciate it. - Pokelover1

I don't mind other people trying to help tidy the place up. There are plenty of stories that I should've moved to the pit a long time ago.

As for the captcha, I hate seeing it pop up on me too. I didn't install it and have no control over it. That's RobKohr's department. It's a nuisance, but before RobKohr put it in, the site was being bombarded by spam-bots editing malware links into existing pages and posting garbage pages full of nasty links. --Platypus 21:20, 27 May 2016 (UTC)

I am the one that made the last pit migration. I don't remember the last but you can see the pit watch list notes. My rule is less than 10 pages and more than a year since it was touched. Or less than 20 pages if they were low quality and over a year with nothing. Those on the border I noted for later review.
